The project
Our client, a leading professional services firm that offers a range of risk-mitigation products, wanted to welcome their new graduate intake with an induction that was more than just expert speakers and discussions. The goal was to create a world-class two-day experience that would inspire early engagement and collaboration, immerse new hires in the organisation’s culture, and showcase its four distinct solution lines with an emphasis on client focus.
Our solution
We designed an engaging two-day induction event that interspersed a powerful, overarching business simulation with insightful presentations and panels delivered by internal SMEs and leaders.
Key elements included…
Senior leaders and subject-matter experts shared insights into the company’s vision, values, and strategy, giving graduates an authentic view of the business.
Tailored to mirror real-world challenges, the simulation required participants, in teams, to work across all four solution lines, helping them understand how these areas interconnect to deliver value to clients. The simulation also helped embed key messages from the speakers, applying insights into the simulation.
Teams tackled scenarios that encouraged cross-functional thinking, communication, and decision-making – building confidence and networks from day one.
Facilitated discussions connected the simulation experience back to organisational priorities and career pathways.
The impact
Graduates left the induction with a strong understanding of the organisation’s core offerings, a sense of excitement for their future, and meaningful connections with peers and leaders. The blend of authentic voices and experiential learning created a memorable start to their journey, reinforcing the company’s reputation as the industry leader. The success of the induction, also led to MDA Training developing an experiential close event at the end of the graduate development programme.
